The very first thing that comes into ones mind when introduced to AVAFX is how easy and friendly their interface is. This is apparent surfing through their website, where all needed information for someone new to this firm is accessible and clear, and is even more so with their Forex trading platform – Ava Trader, where all features are no more than a click away.

They also flag an Islamic Account. AVA FX offers bonuses and special offers for new traders, such as reduced minimum deposit rates, special bonuses using specified payment methods or cash added to your account upon first deposit.

Trades are executed with single-click market executions, or with double-click market trading, while Ava’s professional easy to use charts, updates instantly with ability to save multiple charts on separate worksheets. Meanwhile traders can stay ahead with Updated Economic Calendar Analysis as they use Ava’s daily commentary an analysis.
AVAFX uses a downloadable Forex trading platform called the Ava Trader that gives users the opportunity to trade in FX quickly. They also flag a web based trading window called the Ava Java. The Practice or Demo account has all the live features available on its robust full featured trading platform – with all the same features you would find on Ava’s live platform. AVAFX offers Full Streaming Rates, Up to the second flowing executable exchange rates 24-hours a day, wide range of currency crosses, alongside No Commissions or Fees (this policy includes no deposit fees, no trading fees, no rollover fees, no margin call fees, and in general no fees whatsoever.
The platform basically pops up as Ava Trader 3.1.9.9 with its default settings primarily having 6 windows, 3 on the left half (Dealing Rates, Orders, and Open Positions) and 3 on the right half (Instruments, Account Information, and Summary). These windows are primarily default as Ava Trader has 15 Sub windows, which could be customized onto the main window based on trader’s preference. Ava Trader also enables you to build your own workspaces according to your convenience and needs, and then jump between them using tabs.

The Dealing Rates Sub Window has currency pairs with Sell and Buy buttons encrypted on them. Clicking on either of these buttons for any particular currency pair would mean you either buying or selling one of that currency pair for the other. You then are prompted to enter your trading volume, lot, or quantity called Amount on Ava, Predefined Stop or Stop Loss, Predefined Trailing Stop, and Predefined Limit or Take Profit are also features of this Order Pop-up. All trades entered can be viewed on the Orders Sub Window, while all Open Positions can be seen outlaid on the Open Position Sub Window just below the Orders windows on default setting.

Good, easy to use, Charting Tools are available on Ava FX. Right Clicking on a preferred pair one is prompted with options that includes the “Open Chart” once clicked you can proceed with the pair of your choice and time frame as well. The chart opens with all available tools in it. Some of the features of Ava’s Charting Tool are Trend Lines, Fibo Retracement, Horizontal Lines, and Vertical Lines etc. I must pause here to say that Ava is not one of those crazy places for Technical Indicator freaks as they only flag 20 Technical Indicator Tools. Therefore it becomes imperative for a Support/Backup Charting Tool when on Ava for Advanced Traders.
Ava FX’s site hosts an Online Support Center consisting of a knowledge base of the most common questions related to Forex trading in general, trading with Ava and solving technical problems that may arise using their platforms. Ava FX also offers 24hr Multi-Lingual Support via Chat or Phone (with a US Toll Free Number). The representatives are very responsive and informed, awarding Ava’s support services with a 3 Star Ava FX is a brokerage company that is BVI registered with pending membership status on the NFA. It has the backing of a Large Financial Conglomerate that has over $16 Billion in assets. Ava FX is strengthened by the fact that it is audited by Ernst & Young, the fourth largest auditing firm in the world and banks with Commerz Bank in Frankfurt, Germany.

I am convinced that though they have been online only since 2006, with these financial structures in place, and with their easy to use tools, they have come to stay and impact the market a long way.

Endless.com - Is This Shoe Heaven?

venerdì, 6 marzo 2009

When the seasons change I like to get new shoes (actually I like to get shoes at anytime but the season’s changing is always a good excuse)…

Up until recently when it came to shoes I’ve been an avid brick and mortar shopper, having to go into the actual store to try shoes on, I order everything else online but for some reason I need to try the shoes on in person before buying. But lately I am frustrated with that whole shopping experience, going from shop to shop when I can easily open several tabs at a time just seems to be a waste. Walking around a whole store where nothing is organized or really categorized doesn’t work for me anymore. I order my food online, my clothes, my makeup, my insurance and just about everything else - so why not my shoes?

So when Rae posted a review of endless.com I felt compelled to check them out. I’ve been seeing their banners on the various blogs that I read for fun (Perez, I’m Not Obsessed, Cute Overload) advertising “Overnight Shipping: Negative $5″.

My first impression when I got to endless was that it was super clean and airy.

The cluttered look of the reigning shoe queen zappos sometimes stresses me out.

I was looking for closed toed black pumps that I could wear to work or a night out with some jeans. Navigating around endless is so convenient compared to other shopping sites. The inventory narrows down with a few clicks. As Rae pointed out, a great feature is the ability to browse multiple colors and sizes. If I want to search shoes that are black or silver and sizes 7, 7.5, and 8, I can narrow down my selections and have them all in front of me in a few seconds. (As a recent bride I appreciate that feature).

There’s a neat feature where you can also choose the price range that you want to shop within. As you use the slider the selections change:

Much like shopping in a store, you have the ability to save an item to review later, which means you can pull the shoes or bags you really like to come back to later and you are reminded of how many items you’ve saved.

Later you can come back and browse your own little category that you’ve created.

Zappos has this feature as well but it’s hidden within all the text, and once you add something to your favorites you’re not reminded of it at all.

All in all, I found this site to be fun to use, fast, (really fast actually) and convenient. But at the end of my little investigation, I wound up buying from Zappo’s. They just happened to have what I was looking for. It took me a lot longer to find the right shoe, which kept me on the site for a long enough time to be annoyed at how cumbersome it is, but for the time being I just think they have a better selection of shoes. Yet here I am excited to browse on Endless again and it’s definitely going to be my first stop going forward.

How to Make Money on Amazon

venerdì, 6 marzo 2009

Amazon is a commercial website where you can buy and sell your products both new and old stuffs. It has been around for years now, to my greatest surprise I never knew what I’ve been missing until I discovered a way to make money on amazon without selling my own products there which many people has been using to derive income online. The new way to make money on amazon is through amazon associate programs also called affiliate programs. In case you are new to what an affiliate program is all about, it enables you as an individual Internet entrepreneur to promote the products of a company in return for a commission on all sales generated by you.

You will be acting as an Internet middleman by connecting Internet browsers to particular products and companies through your own network of websites and marketing methods. When you sign up with amazon associate programs you are provided with an affiliate account and a unique link that you can use to promote its products and earn commission on all sales generated by you. It has been around since 1994 and over then many people has made thousands and millions of dollars through it including me, though I haven’t hit the million dollar spot.

Amazon has over 20,000 products on its marketplace like computers, electronics, clothes, shoes and software etc. Its affiliate program invites you to promote any product on its marketplace in return for a commission on all sales generated by you. People from all over the world use most of its goods on daily basis. It has branches in countries like USA, UK and Canada etc and all of them have their own specific affiliate programs. Amazon affiliate program pays you 50% to 75% of the revenue they generate from each product that you refer. On amazon, they are high gravity and low gravity products. High gravity means those products people buy often either on daily or weekly basis while low gravity are products that people don’t buy often.

Amazon recorded a high sales rate last year during Christmas, if you are a news-lover you might had seen it on cnn. You will agree with me that most people in U.S don’t always follow the traditional method of shopping rather some chose to shop online. It has in place varieties of tools you can use to promote its products like banners, links, plexo and astore. Plexo is a kind of amazon tool which is similar to adsense, it could be able to create products similar to the keywords on your website both graphical and links ads while Astore is a kind of amazon website which you can use on your own to include only those products you want to promote on a web page with their prices, pictures and a brief description. If you have a website, you can place amazon ads in it and when someone makes a purchase you get your own commission. You could also place its ads on your blog. Amazon pays on monthly basis through check you can easily cash at the bank. You can make up to $20-$100 per sale on amazon depending on the product you are promoting, think of when you are able to make 10 sales per day the amount of money you would have on your amazon account. The good thing about amazon associate programs is that it has a 60-day-cookie, which means that if the person you referred didn’t make his first purchase on the first day, you also get your commission if he purchases within 60 days.

When promoting amazon products you are expected to do so through the links provided by them in order to get your sale. After signing up with amazon, the next step is to promote their products in order to make a sale. They are varieties of ways that you can use to do this. They are through PPC, article marketing, SEO, blogging, classified ads, squidoo marketing and social marketing. With all these techniques, you can be able to make a lucrative income from amazon. One of the cool ways to market amazon products with success is to do a thorough research on a product, write a review on that product and submit it to article directories. That way, you would be able to get targeted traffic from search engines and also from that article directory because your article would be indexed by people searching for them.

These days people always search for a review on a particular product before they make their purchase and if you are able to write a good review, you may get a couple of sales from just one article. Try to include the pros and cons of that product in order to make the reader know more about the product and also include the reason why your reader should consider purchasing the product. Making money online with amazon is a very lucrative business once you are able to play your cards well. I must tell you that I am into this business and it worth every energy and money I invest in it because in return the endpoint is success, which is money into my bank account. The good thing about amazon affiliate program is that you have the option of marketing its product anytime you want, whether its at night, during the day, on Saturday, on holiday or even on Sunday, the choice is yours. If you are the type that has a job and you need an additional employment in order to supplement your day job, amazon is the best choice. Every one is eligible to work for its associate program whether you are a high school student, undergraduate student or even if you are from another country other than USA.

It is because of countless opportunities that people are now turning towards internet for shopping and saving of course. There are countless sites offering something for sale. Both of them have visitors and customers but it is getting difficult for them to maintain their database of customers because of the mounting demand of customers for excessive saving.

Not to mention that sites today are offering a number of special offers to entice new customers and to inspire existing ones to shop more. But, it seems like all their efforts are going down the drain as people need something extra and something special as well. Amazon Vs eBay - Which is the Best Option For Online Sellers?

venerdì, 6 marzo 2009

With Amazon increasing more 30% every year on 3rd party sales and recent news of layoffs in eBay, the question of selling on eBay or selling on Amazon is more important to online sellers now than ever. The economic slowdown and financial crisis has also made e-commerce vendors take a much closer look on listing fees, commissions, tools, etc in order take a more informed decision about which 3rd party platform they choose. This article will try to give some information to online stores about the advantages and disadvantages of selling on Amazon.com and ebay.com

Let’s start with the current state of both Platforms in terms of sales by 3rd party goods. This could be one indicator (certainly not the only one) of the platform’s success. The first impression is that eBay is the overwhelming leader in marketplace solutions for 3rd party ecommerce companies. In an analysis done by Piper Jaffray of Gene Munster, it’s estimated that in the last 12 months eBay sold 3rd party goods by a market value of roughly $62 billion, while Amazon sold just $6 billion. Although the difference might seem huge in favor of eBay, taking a closer look can prove otherwise.

eBay sales have grown less than the industry average (finance.yahoo.com/q/ae?s=EBAY ), increases in listing fees have outraged groups of important power sellers and as a result of this, the stock has underperformed S&P 500 and Nasdaq Index in the last year. On the other hand, Amazon’s third party sales have been growing steadily at the same pace as total revenues (30-35% a year). Amazon has outpaced Industry growth by a huge margin. Another important reason for the difference in the amount of US$ worth of goods sold is just one of geographical reach. While eBay is present in 32 countries, Amazon has presence in only 7 so any volume comparison would have to be adjusted accordingly. With a clearer picture of the figures now, the trend is very clear: eBay sales are stagnating while more and more vendors are opting for Amazon as their marketplace platform.

The immediate following question would be why? Why more and more vendors are choosing Amazon instead of eBay to sell if fees are more expensive. Some of the reasons why, that I’ve found are the following.

• Fee structure and pricing formats:While, on average, Amazon’s fees are higher, averages always hide important information. Amazon’s fee structure is easier to understand. There is one monthly payment and a commission based on a Fixed price (not variable like in eBay). This makes Amazon’s marketplace more appealing to vendors with high volume / high rotation goods, meaning goods with not much differentiation and more like a “commodity” type. On the other hand, eBay’s auction format and fee structure is much more appealing to high price / low rotation items. No wonder why eBay started as a platform almost only for “Antiques and Collectors” and has moved gradually to mainstream vendors.

• Better customers: Amazon customers have proved to be more loyal, spend more, and most importantly, pay on average higher prices for the same items than on eBay. These are very appealing reason for an Online Vendor to choose Amazon’s Platform; let’s check them one by one.

o More loyal customers: Even when Amazon sells goods from a third party seller, It retains customer information and the right to follow up on that client with any marketing action Amazon considers appropriate. This means that all direct marketing actions are centralized and controlled by Amazon and this is a huge advantage to make customers more loyal. On the other hand eBay does not control this information. If a seller sells something on eBay, the seller retains billing and contact information, not eBay. Therefore, follow up marketing actions are spread between many vendors, with no coordination or consistency to the eyes of the buyer.

o Customers that spend more: What Amazon does with the purchaser information is pure and “state of the art” direct marketing to increase revenue and profitability per customer. By sending relevant e-mails, cross selling items before checkout, whish lists, giving away shipping fees, etc, Amazon has achieved loyal customers, and in this case, loyal customers spend more than in any other site.

o Higher average prices: There are a couple of reasons that I can say why prices on Amazon are higher than on eBay. First and most important is the marketplace structure: Amazon is a fixed price marketplace while eBay is an auction based marketplace. By its nature, auction based marketplace will be much more competitive on prices. For similar items, a difference of $1 might make a buyer decide to go for the cheapest option. Also, it’s much easier to compare prices between different vendors because the website was originally designed to do this.

The other reason, easier to understand is just that fees on Amazon are higher, therefore on average, as sellers tend to maintain their prices, prices for similar items will be higher on Amazon than on eBay. In any case, is important for an online vendor to know that Amazon’s customers will be less picky on prices than eBay’s customers.
