John Deere Company, sometimes called Deere & Company, was founded by John Deere himself, an American blacksmith in 1837. Deere was born in Vermont and later on moved to Illinois and created the very first steel plow which was sold to the public. This was marked as the beginning of John Deere Company.

From a company organized by one lowly blacksmith, it has now grown into a huge corporation all over the world. John Deere hires about 52,000 employees to achieve maximum productivity in their business. Agricultural equipment is the main product of John Deere. They sell these to dealers all over the world to provide the customers’ with their farming needs. The company also assists customers in their farming issues and problems by suggesting solutions and providing excellent service.

Commercial and consumer equipment include tractors, mowers, golf course equipment, irrigation and nursery tools, and other landscape necessities. The construction and forestry segment provides equipment and tools for forestry. The company is also a major supplier of construction equipment in the United States.

Finally, John Deere also offer credits and loans among its customers and is considered as one of the biggest finance companies for equipment in US. They also offer wholesale, retail, and lease financing not just in US but also in 17 other countries worldwide.
